Copper Elements

A deluxe contemporary kitchen with elements of copper set against a backdrop of white and concrete tones.

THE CHALLENGE

The kitchen in this stunning 1930s home in Weybridge was part of a full house refurbishment.  After popping into our showroom the family soon knew what they wanted to achieve in their new kitchen.  The room had generous proportions and as a blank canvas provided the flexibility to design a combination of cabinets along with a statement island and breakfast bar.

THE SOLUTION

A contemporary and streamlined kitchen was achieved with stylish handleless units including an integrated handleless system and lift up wall units for a smooth sophisticated finish.  The cabinets were a combination of sleek white and textured concrete.  Floor to ceiling white units housed integrated Miele appliances including a fridge freezer and ovens along with a larder giving easy access to groceries.

The L-shape design included draw and wall units giving much needed extra storage to maintain the clutter free design with generous worktop space.  Lighting was included inside and outside of the cupboards.

The stunning feature island offered further storage with an induction hob and breakfast bar seating for the family to gather round together.  Silestone’s blanco zeus suede white worktop in 20mm connected the kitchen with a coveted waterfall worktop on the island which flowed elegantly to the floor.  The unique breakfast bar also included a natural wood worktop from Spekva, their River Washed Brasilica Safari brought an organic warmth to the island.

An Elica Cirrus extraction hood was positioned over the island, subtly disappearing from sight it discreetly removed cooking odours from the kitchen.

Copper elements gave the kitchen its unique finish from Byzantine toughened glass splashback, pendant lights and bar stools.

THE RESULT

The variety of cabinets, textures and tones all came together subtly to create this elegant contemporary kitchen.  The family now have a modern kitchen with innovative appliances and practical storage that functions smoothly whilst retaining the minimal streamlined design.
