Minimalist Boutique Ensuite
Minimalist luxury was needed for the master ensuite in our client’s period home. After living in America for several years, they wished to bring some of the influences they had experienced into their new home. A change of layout and design was needed to create the minimalist look they craved.
As they preferred showers, we decided to remove the existing bath to create a luxurious, spacious room with a walk-in shower. Dramatic Noir St Laurent tiles were used in the shower area and contrasted with Cremo Delicato marble-effect tiles.
A feature that is commonplace in American homes is a separate loo within the bathroom. By removing the existing built-in shower, we were able to position the WC behind a bespoke frosted glass panel which still allows natural light to filter through, whilst keeping it separate from the rest of the shower room.
We added ‘His and Hers’ opalite ceramic glass Charlotte basins with wall-hung Tortora silk vanity units by Artelinea to conceal any clutter and to enhance the minimalist feel.
Axor Citterio single level basin taps and a stunning bevelled mirrored add the final subtle touches of luxury to this modern master en-suite.
